He told me it would be a great unit if i wasnt going to be anywhere that the tempatures get above 85 degrees that is why I went with the 13500 btu unit it was only 750 installed. and i have the 3500 watt generator. I can run a/c and almost anything else I...

    memorable roads

I think the most memorable road that I have ever taken was U.S. 95 from Las Vegas to Reno. If you have the time you can stop in all the old silver mining towns and look around. I got to see how they had made building walls out of old bottles. It was an awesome look at the way things were built...

    2004 Sprinter advise

I dont know much about the RV model but if it is basically stripped down I dont see a problem with the weight. One thing about the 2004 models that you have to worry about is the EGR valve. They are know for getting clogged. There are threads on here that can help you with that problem. Another...

    staying out longer

I used to stay out 4-6 weeks at a time but now it seems I'll be staying out at least 6-7 weeks to make it more profitable. Then again I have always been a weekend warrior. With the fuel so high I lose money cause more people are staying out on the weekends.

    Fuel Surcharge & Carrier Obligation

As a wise old expediter told me once (ovm). It is all in the contract. If you sign a contract that says you get $1 per mile and that is all then the company does NOT have to pay a fuel surcharge. If you sign a contract that says they will pay you a fuel surcharge then you will get it. The fuel...

    newbie looking for advise

Welcome to the world of expediting. All I can tell you is this... You have to figure out what it is going to cost you to run per mile and then figure out what you have to make to make it profitable. Some people can make 75 cents per mile and make a profit and some people can do it for less or...

    roof top a/c units

I have a coleman Mach 3 13500 btu unit with a heat strip... i have had it since 06 and have never had any problems with mine. The only bad thing is that you have to use a 3500 watt generator or higher to make it run. I would suggest not to get the heat strip it really doesnt work that well...
