A Plus Expedited(more like Special Ed Expedited)

Sounds like a company to stay away from! But then again, I'm sure this company sounds like a small "mom and pop" start up with any lack of experience in expediting. And I'm sure there are alot of those type of companies out there now!

    Check engine light off

Ran a 1989 Ford C/V and the check engine was constantly on. Took it to several repair shops even the Ford Dealer couldn't diagnose the problem she ran fine 269,000 miles before I traded it in for a 1998 Ford C/V which I'm still running to this day!

What Made you Get into Expediting?

I remember my first experience in expediting was a neighbor of ours in Wheaton, IL where we lived at the time. My Dad was parts manager/DC manager of Komatsu's Midwest warehouse in Carol Stream, IL. Our neighbor Doran Baker who was an insurance saleman got rid of his agency and bought a Ford...

    Re:CV rates and logging

Re: CV rates and logging Purgoose, I am one of the small guys that do business with more than one carrier. The partner carriers I am associated with are not any one of the big major expeditied carriers out there. They are the small mom and pop companies or freight forwarders near the...

find a driver has never been so hard

The sad truth is that it is hard to find a good driver out there, whether it be for a local or OTR or even expedited. It takes a special unique individual to be a driver, someone who has to know the good with the bad. I've done local and expedite. Driven for a fleet owner and as an o/o. It...

Hello fellow expediters. It's been awhile since I last posted. I ran into some financial difficulties and had to take a break from expediting, and get a regular job with a steady paycheck. I have been keeping up with all the banter on here and have picked up some good tips for when I resume...

Have always been doing expedite since I was in college on a part-time basis working trips around my full-time jobs.
