Have you cargo vanners tried hauling air freight?

Depends on how you choose to look at it. He can run that van until it drops and walk away if he wants. It's not a business model I want to do, but he can do it if he chooses. It's definitely a short term plan, but it is what a lot of people are doing. It is why rates are in the toilet also...

Have you cargo vanners tried hauling air freight?

But Turtle...that is the new business model. Buy a cheap van, run it for what you can get until it drops, then move on to another van if you have saved any money...or a new adventure if you haven't.

$150/day...200 miles/day? $750/wk....1000 miles/week? I wouldn't even consider it. Double the mileage pay and you "might" survive. Remember...you've got a van, fuel and other operating expenses to pay for.

    Issues Facing CDL Holders

Turtle, I followed your link to the original Dr. Atkins book. It's like $7...pretty cheap information even you don't want to do it...imo. My question is (i also searched Amazon for other Atkins products). Do you recommend any of the other books? I saw some with recipes, daily journals, food...

I'm parked next to unit 291 here in El Paso. He told me last night that he was in Laredo a couple weeks ago. He found and killed a 5-1/2' rattler under his Sprinter. See...another problem with Sprinters!! :D

    Issues Facing CDL Holders

True, but there is a lot of good info for those of us who need it. I'm currently reading it and beating our friend, Guido, over the head with every word...lol.

Reply sent. Final thoughts: For those who choose a battle of wits with Ateam. It reminds me of what an old man once told me about wrestling pigs...."sooner or later, you realize the pig enjoys it"

    Landstar info please

Honestly, I have seen so many with a personal vendetta (sp?) against Phil that I could probably write the pm for you...lol. But, if you wish. I'll try to read it without going to sleep.

    Landstar info please

Actually, they are not picking on you. You make a habit of following Ateam's posts and making asinine replies to them. You seem to make an attempt to turn every post he makes into a fedex vs Landstar duel. I doubt that Phil really cares what you think. He has a right to do as he pleases and see...

    Testing Batteries

Take a look at ebay in the commercial truck parts section. I purchased a used FL battery box with the cover for like $125 shipping included (the cover costs more than that new).

    On the subject of comfort....

Cabelo's, Basspro, Campingworld, etc carry them also. Their's are usually more expensive, but better quality. They also have different sizes.

Installing Fan-Tastic Roof Vent on GMC Vans

Re: Installing Fan-Tastic Roof Vent On Cargo Vans I have considered doing something like that bill. I would be more interested in something along the same size as the Breezeway. I like the Breezeways fine...except for being plastic.
