    Load one

Work for a quality company and that is all you will ever need to earn a respectable living. Work for a garbage low class company and you will have to work for 4 more on top of that to make ends meet.

A Coleman Roughneck Mach 3. 15,000 BTU.. You will appreciate the BTU's in the Texas heat. A Honda EU3000 will run it.

    Chains

If they block the road and make you chain up then you shouldn't be on the roads at all. Is that $1,000 load really worth it? Especially after lodging, getting pulled out, vehicle damage, and freight damage/loss???. What kind of phone call do you think that you're dispatcher wants to make to...

    Chains

Exactly. I'm glad that Load One isn't one of those companies that push their drivers to drive against their will in bad road conditions. They are good to us in that respect.

    Chains

Exactly. And if you are involved in a accident while chained up, there are some insurance companies that will not cover you. If jts that bad where one gas to chain up while driving, than they shouldn't be driving to begin with, IMO.

To those who have generators underneath their van.

Why would you want a diesel generator on a van to begin with?

    Fright lanes??

In this day and age, there are no good freight lanes anymore, as it is all a big crapshoot. Unpredictable. A clouded crystal ball. However, the Load One app (you all knew this was coming lol) does help its drivers to better position themselves strategically in a more productive area with the...

    Extra battery

Why not do it right to begin with and run proper mounted/gauge cables to begin with?

    Extra battery

Never had that problem most likely because I use a battery charger/maintainer to keep them charged when the van is off and the generator is running.

    West Shore Freight

Ironically, I was just talking to a driver a few minutes ago who used to drive for this company. From what he has told me about the owner, from experience, I'd say it would be a good idea to stay away from this. Look elsewhere.

    Extra battery

Battery Disconnect Switches at Summit Racing I swear by Interstate megatron plus batteries. But, I do have a Oddysey battery for a secondary battery. It's the 2nd one in 8 years. I wont spend that kind of money again for a battery, but will go with an Interstate battery ( I see Tractor Supply...

Load One Feb Thread (so original lol)

It's been up and down, but in a good way for me, timing was good, as I am spending so much time getting my Moms affairs in order, healthcare things, Anthem, arrangements for a mover, everything. Took advantage of the warm weather when I was in it to do things on the van that I couldn't do in...
