    Ford or GMC Cargo Vans

We have a Ford diesel. Good mpg and no problem with idling for long periods in cold and hot weather. However, diesel is expensive repairs. Ford garages rarely have the right part in stock in case of repairs and must order - many times downtime of 3-4 days waiting for parts. Have had numerous...

    Tri-State Expedited Service, Inc.

LEA is a great company, however, if you are a wannabe you must be inexperienced and it is my understanding that you must have 6 months experience to sign on with them. Good luck in whatever you choose. :)

    CTX

As a FORMER CTX driver and one who is very happy with my present company, I got a letter from CTX the other day. Apparently changes are going on. They were inviting us back if we left because of the unprofessinal dispatchers and mixed up dispatches. They must be cleaning house. IMHO they will...

    Personal message to Cj (Connie)

Bill-Thought you dropped off the face of the Earth. Miss the jokes, etc. You've got mail! cj X I think I'm old enough to be Bill's mama (a young one, of course). We drive for same company. (PS: I don't surf those kind of sites-my hubby is enough for me to handle.) LOL cj

    Pets

My husband met them-they are with LEA, home is outside Indy. I met the Mr. and seems nice and was very clean. I'm sure their monkeys are just like other people's kids as far as love and care go. They drive a super B so their babies would be in the cab away from customers. Everyone has their own...

    Pets

In 4 years of expediting the closest thing I have hauled to food grade is labels for Friskies cat food. Yes, pets shed but if brushed daily and sticky rollers are used on clothing you should have no problems. There is and never has been and never will be a "stench" in my truck. Our dog knows...

    Pets

As far as I know the main expediters allow pets. I've seen pets with almost every company at some time or other. Besides WE own the truck what I carry is my business and have never had any corporate question it. Old dogs need lots of love -- Go for it.

Just curious...How many of you travel with your "li'l buddies"? Any problems? How do they "entertain" themselves. Behavior? I won't go anywhere without my BABY. She's an 18 lb. Cocker. I restrain her in the front seat while at the customer's door. Stop at the rest areas to do her duty and...

    FLORIDA FREIGHT??

We have an E-350 7.3 and almost consistantly run 20 mpg. Even when we run the heat and A/C on an idle on a longer layover we will get 18 or so.

    TV reception

Other than using Park n View. What is the best kind of antenna to use for improving reception? Don't watch a lot of TV but during longer layovers it's something to do. Any preference between rabbit ears or boomerangs? Or is there something better?

    Park n View

Any truck stops in the "freight lanes" that have PnV for the "B" units? Always seems to be for the bigger trucks? Hate to hog a spot for my little van.
