    08 ud w/j08 engine

Do you know what P0088, P0087, P0182, P0335, and P0340 all have in common? They're all for sensors on the same branch of wiring harness. 335 and 340 are for crank and cam sensors. These rarely go bad. I've never replaced one. Same for fuel temp sensor, 182. Yes, they're shotgunning parts at...

    MONEY PIT.

One big problem with this engine is that it doesn't have replaceable cylinder liners. It's not easily rebuilt at the end of it's life. Recognize the point when it starts to go downhill and sell it while it still has some value. Sent from my XT1585 using EO Forums mobile app

Tires will not affect it. You are capable of rephasing the shaft if it's wrong, if you have the tools. Post a pic of the shaft separated by the slip yoke, let's see if it's correct. Sent from my XT1585 using EO Forums mobile app

Also make sure the driveshaft is in phase. I started a thread about it recently. If this is wrong, high rates of transmission bushing wear is possible, which can exacerbate speed sensor faults. Sent from my XT1585 using EO Forums mobile app

    Another P2030 issue

No idea. If you're successfully retrieving the burner event log, then you're successfully communicating with the burner control unit. One should be able to clear P2030, but there generic burner fault code the BCU sends to the ECU (P141F) will not clear if the DPR history isn't cleared first...

You need an actual diagnosis. There are myriad problems with these transmissions, but often it's simple sensor or wiring problems that are relatively easily fixed. Loss of speedo suggests possible output shaft speed sensor failure, or wiring faults. You need an actual diagnosis. Sent...

Driveshaft phasing: no one knows what it is.

Generally they're replaced when the rubber part collapses, and that time frame is highly variable.

    Hello, Hino 338 owner here.

Hino has about 11-12% of the market. Not enough demand. If horsepower is that much of a concern, sell it and buy something that's already making the power you want. Sent from my XT1585 using EO Forums mobile app
