    2008 268A NO HIGH BEAM

Does the transmission warning light ever come on, or does it ever have problems? This transmission made it into few Hinos. It wasn't a popular option. The only one I ever worked on had a transmission wiring harness that tested bad. Sent from my XT1585 using EO Forums mobile app

    /// / No thermostst for a year....How bad is that on engine ? ////

With the oil never getting up to temperature, all the moisture from normal combustion never boils off, contaminating the oil and accelerating wear. I very much agree with Turtle. What else was ignored? Likely everything. If it started and ran, it was driven. Only reactive repairs done...

    P1459,P2202, p2215

Are you monitoring data through the BCU? If yes, then you're seeing a normal phenomena on that particular line of data. If you want a real reading, look at DPR outlet temp through the ecu, not the bcu. Nothing is broken. It's a programming error.

    2012 Hino 258 No Power

It sounds like it needs an injection pump, as you've ruled out the usual suspects. Clamping the line has the risk of blowing the shaft seal out of the pump. Watch the oil level. If clamping the line raised pressure, then that tells me that the pump has an unacceptable rate of internal...

    2012 Hino 338 Electrical Disaster - HELP!

My advice for all flood victims is either scrapyard, part out, or buy a wrecked one for parts. Sent from my XT1585 using EO Forums mobile app

    2008 268A NO HIGH BEAM

For the high beams, the multifunction switch is the most likely culprit. Marker lights are on a completely different circuit, so other lights won't affect the high beams. If you have lights that don't function but they have voltage at both the power and ground points, they have poor grounds...

    2008 268A NO HIGH BEAM

I would test the fuel cut relay for proper operation, or just replace it. The troubleshooting condemns the relay, wiring harness, or Ultrashift ecu. Sent from my XT1585 using EO Forums mobile app

P1676 is not in the 2008 manual. It is in the 2009 manual though. Does this thing have an Eaton Ultrashift? The code is for fuel cut relay malfunction. I'll have to look into that further. Sent from my XT1585 using EO Forums mobile app

    2008 268A NO HIGH BEAM

I'll be able to do more when I get in front of a wiring diagram. I don't know what p1676 is offhand. P200 isn't a code. I'm assuming you mean p2002, which is a failure to regen. This has MANY causes. Is the tailpipe black with heavy soot? Does it ever have low power or even stalling during...

    Transmission light

It sounds like the fluid level is close enough. Someone with Allison DOC software should have a look at it, I think. It's probably a relatively simple problem. Sent from my XT1585 using EO Forums mobile app

    Transmission light

Which transmission? It will either have a 2000 or 3000 series Allison. The 3000 series has a push button shifter with a numeric display. Sent from my XT1585 using EO Forums mobile app

    Transmission light

Which transmission? I'm going to assume it's a 2000-series Allison. These transmissions are generally trouble-free, but they do occasionally mess up. I've replaced several internal mode switches (IMS, range switch, whatever you want to call it). The occasional turbine speed sensor/related...

Thinking about this further, I doubt there's a harness fault. Those aren't network codes. Go into the engine ECU customization menu and set the set amount to 2.2. Then, go to the diagnostic menu, open data monitor, and monitor the inlet and Outlet sensor voltages, along with def injection...

2012 Isuzu NPR-HD Catalytic Converter and DPF Issue

So there are two different catalysts on here. The DOC, or diesel oxidation catalyst, and the Scr catalyst. Generally the Scr gets damaged with contaminated DEF. The DOC may have a separate issue, or it can be a software issue (did you check for possible updates?). Or it could be a combination...

I would check the junction box under the air filter for water intrusion. There's very likely to be a small gap in the cover insulation. Water gets past the gap and can cause widespread corrosion. A new cover comes with a better seal and an improved harness support. There's a wire repair kit...
