    Fuel sur charge for expediters

Murraycroexp, I guess that's what I should be looking into, which companies run only load board freight. Also do most companies have some kind of floating rate. The outfit I ran for paid the same per mile for every load, where ever it was going or how ever many miles.

    Fuel sur charge for expediters

I did stop, that's why I'm looking into it now before I find another company to haul for. I was driving my own truck, paying for gas myself. With that being said, this is not the reason I left that company.I had other issues with them ,but money was not one.

    Fuel sur charge for expediters

Do the expediters that pay for their own fuel get the fsc for every load they haul? About 6 months ago I hooked up with an expediting company. During the "orientation" (this was a 1/2 phone call) I was told not all loads pay a fsc and this was normal. Well after hauling for them for 5 months, I...

    Truth or BS?

I'll add, I built a small windmill using GM 1 wire alt. I have it hooked up to a deep cycle battery. This set up powers a bunch of LED lights I have in my shop. I also took a fan out of an old computer(most are 12 volts) and mounted it in my dog house for hot summer days. The lights are off in...

    CDL Question

Thanks guys your answers confirmed what I thought. Wanted to get some other opinions though. Turtle from the listings I've seen on the want ads here it looks like most want you to have a "B" to even drive a van.

    CDL Question

I got what I thought was a simple question. I called the DMV and went there and asked and didn't really get an answer. So here goes. I have a 15ft boxtruck 12000#. I don't need a CDL to drive this truck.I am thinking about signing on with a company that requires all the drivers to have a CDL-B...
