President Clinton made the bold statement that justice for the Oklahoma bomber would be "swift and certain".

I don't know if anyone made the same promise for KSM.

Very different situations. With McVeigh, we could actually call him a terrorist. With Obama, no one can be labeled a terrorist. He will probably be let go and charged with trespassing. ;)

What's the plan? To keep KSM at Gitmo indefinitely? How about some closure for the families of all who suffered on 9/11/2001.

Last week they were looking to close Gitmo and move them to a US prison. Looks like that is falling apart. Not really sure what the plan is?

It says he was captured in 2003 so he has spent more time sitting there under the Bush administration. How do we explain away that one?

He wasn't just sitting there. KSM was given regular waterboarding sessions and he confessed to a multitude of terrorist attacks throughout the world. It's doubtful any more useful information can be gleaned from KSM. He hasn't been an active player for nearly ten years now. Hasn't KSM asked to be executed for the sake of martyrdom?

They should let him watch as they dig a grave and humanely kill a pig. Then he should be smeared with the pig blood and have the entrails draped around his neck just prior to getting a bullet in the head and being dropped face down in the grave having been told exactly what would happen so he knows he's not going to paradise and not getting any virgins.

Thanks for the visual and the humane killing of the pig but I disagree. He should be paralyzed from the neck down and sat in a corner somewhere where each day that goes by he is not getting those virgins that he earned.

Two reasons McVeigh got the juice so quick.
1) He was the first to get the death penalty after it was re instated for Federal crimes.
2) He asked to be executed and did not take any appeals.

Bush had nothing to do with his trial or punishment.
Gitmo on the other hand is a waste. We're pulling out of Afganistan and going to leave it wide open for the Rag's so just ship them over there and practice with drone strikes.
