Did Obawa Pay 7.5 Billion For Osama Bin Ladens Location?

I am NOT into all the "Conspiracy Theories BS" that a lot of loons are into, especially some loons down here in the soapbox, but this has really really got me intrigued.

Anybody ever heard of the "Kerry-Lugar" Bill that was passed in the Senate in 2009, and signed by Obawa in 2009 also?

This bills promises 1.5 Billion dollars a year to go to Pakistan for "Economic Development" for the next 5 years(2011 through 2014) for a total of 7.5 Billion dollars. And, it is a Bill that can be renewed in 2014 too.

There's some info on this bill online, you can read it in its entirety too if you have the time to read through 8800 pages, but for some reason the "Wiki" page covering it in a Cliff Notes abbreviation has been deleted.

I don't know........just ODD to me that at the time we send off the 1st 1.5 Billion Dollar payment(2011), is also the same time we finally nail Bin Laden living in little Mansion there 3/4's of a mile from Pakistanis Military "West Point" Academy.

Uh...Uh....Uh....I don't know......guess I'll just keep my opinions to myself.

The Kerry-Lugar Act which has passed the Senate, after a similar bill passed in the House last month, would provide $7.5 billion in nonmilitary aid over the next five years, in an ambitious plan to counter widespread anti-American sentiment there by helping Pakistan's civilian government deliver essential services to its population. Unlike previous no-strings aid packages, Kerry-Lugar makes support conditional on Pakistan's military being subordinated to its elected government, and taking action against militants sheltering on its soil.

In other words, President Bush had a "you're either with us or your against us" hardline stance against Terrorists, Terrorism, and the countries that possibly harbor the same, and Obawas stance is "we'll pay you to give us your harbored Terrorists".

I'm more of a "do it or suffer the consequences" type of guy, like our Great President Bush was, and do not agree with this amount of money being sent to Pakistan, period. Don't care what it is meant for, that's just TOOOO MUCCHHH money to be sending to any country at this time in America.

My opinion.............

Considering the level of corruption and graft in that country, we can just roll our eyes at the percentage of that money which will go to the warlords, poppy farmers and the Taliban itself. It's just another example of the obscenely wasteful spending to which the boy president and his liberal allies are addicted. They're not paying for Bin Laden - they're trying to buy friends. Hopefully the next administration will cancel this nonsense.
