Thinking about it..the cost of a motel room hasn't really gone up ....in 10 years...
Not the price, just the quality. I don't remember them being as shabby and dirty like so many are today.

And....... just like Duncan donuts, 7-11"s, and liquor stores are mostly owned by foreigners.. who dont like to reinvest in their properties.

4 Star? Hmmm…. Though we have not used a truck stop shower in over 2 years I’m a bit skeptic about your star rating.
Hotels/motels regardless of price are only mentioned as the only "other" shower alternative while out on the road. Not really a great choice for most drivers, unless he/she is on a dedicated route.
Maybe, just maybe ya’ll could expand on what works for cleaning up when you must, and no shower is readily at hand.
A friend of mine use to take an rubbing alcohol shower when he would go out on the boat for several days. I think a truck might be too enclosed for the alcohol idea.

VERY old product. Been selling those things at sporting goods shops like Bass Pro Shop and Gander Mountain for more than 30 years.
