Insurance savings

Just a tip for anyone who is looking for insurance and doesn't know about CIS. I was advised to try them by a Cat recruiter for a van I am bringing on. I first called State Farm where I have been for over 30 years and was told they could not insure commercial vehicles. I then got a quote from a local commercial insurance agency here in Mississippi. I then called CIS and got a quote that was $420 less than the hometown firm. A dollar saved is a um, er dollar saved . Anyway, here is the contact info if anyone needs it.

I have to say CIS was a pleasure to work with. They saved me a ton of money over the insurance offered through Ceva.
Plus I can talk to a person rather then wait weeks going through Ceva as I had no direct contact with the insurance company
CIS gets a big A++++++ from me

Definately worth the time to get a quote.
If that was the only thing I came away with after going to the expo(it wasn't) It would have made the trip worthwhile.:)

Natalie and the rest of the folks at CIS took care of my insurance for me. I saved a little bit of money AND got some extra coverage on uninsured motorists I wouldn't have had otherwise AND am covered 24/7/365 so even if I use my van personally I'm covered. Oh, and did I mention saving just a little bit of money besides?

Also don't forget to lesson the value of your vehicle as it ages. It can cut your cost in half after just a few years.

We shop our coverage once a year. So far, CIS hasn't been the cheapest, but they offer the best coverage for the price.
We are happy with our coverage and service.
My advise would be to fax them your currently policy and see how it compares.
Not all coverages and policies are the same.

The one thing that people seem to miss when they get coverage is the extra stuff in the cab, laptop and other "needed" equipment. It would be wise to ask if this stuff is covered and then when the end of the year rolls around, figure out how much everything is worth including the truck and call the insurance company - you may be paying to cover that $35,000 truck that they will only pay you $20,000 for if you have an accident.
