In his own words barry says it may be better for old people to just take pain meds instead of getting Surgery. Remember barry has much better health care then he wants the rest of us to get i bet he would get the surgery

My mom passed away, on Feb. 01, after a lenghty illness. During the period between mid-December and the day she died, she was made comfortable by caring nurses who placed morphine drops, on her tongue, every 4 hours.

The reason I mention mid-December, is that is when the cardiologist told my brother & I, that there was surgical procedure that he could perform, that might buy my mom a few more months, but it might just as well kill her. She told us that she would rather be assured of a little more time, even if it was painful, than the uncertainity of surgery.

So, in our case, pain killers were just the ticket.
