They let this slip last week when they also said they will be bring cars built in korea and mexico here......
yeap the taxpayers bail them out... they still cut jobs and still end up filing BK and then they move production out of the country....
oh, they are also saying they maybe moving out of michigan also....think they will move "south" to a "right to work" state???

oh and i heard today that this was in the 1st plan thabarry rejected, looks like he was ok with moving production out of the country , since it is still the plan........

The worse part is that our gocernment got involved beyond simply "backing LOANS" that were required repayment to a bank instead of using taxpayer dollars to gain control of the industry...much like was done with chysler with iacocca in the early 80's..
They should have been left to file BK to begin with and let them go through the NORMAL legal functions to be able to return to business on their own...not as government owned auto....The involvement of govenment in the market as has been done with both chysler and gm is wrong, and illegal....

Its kinda ironic...Toyota, Nissan, Honda all expanding here and the big 3 expanding in their countries....we've just switched companies...MINUS the UAW.....
