  • Stress

My stress level starts to go up when we are on our way to pickup or unload for a customer. How hard with the customer be to find? Do we have accurate directions on roads a truck is legal to drive on? Are there low tree branches or overpasses?
  • Truck meets Plane

We finally had our first load where we were able to unload directly into a charter jet! One of the bonuses of having a lift gate and pallet jack is we were also able to save the day as there were no forklifts in the area to move our freight to the plane.

The phone rings at three in the morning and it is our custom ring for FedEx Custom Critical with a ASAP pickup and delivery. In ten minutes we wake up, get dressed, get our load information, get in the drivers seat, get our drivers logs updated, fill out our paperwork and get rolling.
  • Versatile Rice Cooker

My rice cooker is about worn out from being used almost daily in the truck. The rice cooker has maybe steamed rice twice in its lifetime. I use the rice cooker as a fry pan, a sauce pan, to bake with, and a steamer. It is an amazing piece of equipment in the truck.

This seems to be the story of our lives. We have it better now than we did in the semi truck and trailer as it can cost the customer if the truck is held too long at a dock. We still run into this some when the pickup appointment time is set before the customer even arrives at work.
  • Alarms at Night

We have had wide based single tires on our truck for over two years. When we purchased the tires we also purchased a Pressure Pro tire monitoring system. The Pressure Pro monitors the air pressure in each tire and when the air pressure drops below a percentage an alarm sounds.
  • Pre Assignment for Monday
    By Bob & Linda Caffee

We were offered a load on Friday that picks up on Monday which provides us with an awesome break. We are free to go do laundry, see a movie, spend time with family and friends, and not worry about the beep of the QUALCOMM and having to pack everything away and take off in a hurry.
  • Warm Weather

We dodged the cold weather bullet just barely! We made is south just as the cold was coming across the center of the country and ended up in southern New Mexico. It was sure nice to not wake up to a frozen world and our generator not running

Our truck is always in the background of our lives and in many of our pictures. The truck sits there waiting till we are ready to hit the road again. The truck makes possible many of our dreams and is what we have used to create a successful business that we enjoy
  • First load out

After being off for awhile you are on pins and needles waiting for that first load offer taking you away from the house. We were caught pretty off guard on this first load as we usually do not get load offers first thing in the morning..
