Does anyone know how to 'grab' a video from the net and either save it to a file on your computer, or post it on youtube?

Don't know about the youtube portion of your question.

But I downloaded real player (the free version) and where the site allows it, I can download a video. Pretty sure somebody else has found ways to get to the videos, but it works for me.

There are tons of them out there. Do a Google search for "youtube video grabber" or "save youtube videos"

Keepvid, savetube, lots of 'em. I use DownloadHelper, which is an add-on for Firefox, lets you download videos from just about anywhere with one click.

Thanks for your replies. I don't want to grab a youtube, I want to grab another video from a tv site and put it on my hard drive, edit it, and then post it on a website and/or youtube.
Is this possible?
