Would you increase your DH?

Just saw $2.30/gal at Love truck stop on I 55 near MS/LA border.

Would you increase your DH percentage to get to the hot zones since the gas prices are lower?

I'd rather increase the profit while gas is cheap instead of increasing dh, put extra miles to make the same $

It's never been an issue of 'if' with me, but rather 'when'. High fuel prices only delayed the decision.

I guess I was looking at some of the drivers who are stuck in the dead location for days. Why not take the chance to the hot zones.

Since the savings from falling fuel prices should atlease pay for the deadheading. On top of that, some might also get paid for the empty moves. I would think the move to the hot zones may give better chance of getting the loads. Just the thought.

For me, lots of dh for sure:)
