I was at the Expo and was talking To Scott St. Germain from 4 State Trucks AKA As (Chrome shop Mafia). I was telling Scott that they should get into building Sleeper's for Expedite Trucks. My Question
is would anyone else think that they would do good at it because of the show. And Would anyone pay to have there sleeper Tricked. I know the cost of Redoing an old sleeper is cheaper than spending $39,000.00 on a new one. I just did it so I know. let me know what you think.

I think it would be great. There are a few that do it, but not on any kind of grand scale.

It would undoubtedly be one of the coolest sleepers on the road. I don't know what the cost would be though. It might be cost prohibitive with materials and labor combined.

I really do enjoy the show,and they do some pretty outragious stuff.

But i really don't think i need a fireplace in my sleeper,or 16 DVD monitors placed throughout the truck.

And i DEFINATELY do NOT need a 4000 watt stereo system with those big thumpin'woofers under the bunk.But that's just me.

Yes.
They take the factory sleeper and convert them. ICT,ARI, Double Eagle, and I believe AA still does them. As mentioned, it is a service they do but I don't think any do it on a large scale.

ICT does a complete makeover on a factory KW sleeper for about $9k. It has sink, fridge, tv/dvd, shore power with batteries and other nice stuff plus the nice cabinets etc. they are known for. I'd like to have the sink most of all.

It's a lot alright. The tv/video system is the most outrageous. I forget how much that takes off but it's a lot. Anyway, it's a lot alright and anyone with the talent and ability to do it themselves can definitely save money. I don't have that talent so if/when I do anything I'll have to go to somebody for it.
