I got my expediter hand book in the mail the other day.

I was reading the article on "Ten things to know about Expediting", and came across my screen name on page 8 as contibuting to that article.

I wish I had that knowledge to have shared, but I will someday.Although it looked good seeing my name there.

Wish me luck,Looks like I'm taking my cargo van with Nations Express.

I did have a question.

Nations said that I needed a commercial plate for my cargo van.I called Joe Fidas( Thats our local do-it-all notary),and they said that the vehicle has to weigh 33,000 lbs to get a comercial plate - so I am a little confused there on how to get a commercial plate?

It depends on which state as to whether they have a seperate commercial plate for a van. Specific information from your state registar should tell you the specifics and costs, if any. There are only a few states that don't have commercial plates for vans.

I do believe Pa. has seperate commercial plates on vans. I would certainly call the state license department to get specifics. I believe all of the east coast states have them.

Not really, there is an article published by a relatively new individual stating what he belives you need to know about expediting.

If you look into the links for expediting seminars you'll find a little information. There's a couple named Yates and old timer's has gotten me so I only remember her name is Linda. Anyway, they have the 'white tiger' truck and also do seminars on expediting. I believe they have a handbook that's part of the seminar program. I've heard of such a book anyway.

I believe this particular thread is talking about the Expediter's digest that is similar to the other digest size freebies you see in the racks at the truckstops. A recent issue had an article about 10 things in it. Do a search on 'white tiger truck' or 'Linda Yates' and you'll probably get links to the seminars and other stuff. Good luck to you.
