What a Truck

Today in Memphis I Seen a Freightliner 2006 Cab over black in Color of which was pulling a Double Carrier Reefer Trailer.

The Trailer was Certiifed to go down to -22F in 100 Degree heat. She had a Data cold 500 Data loggers and Trans scan. The inside could be compartmented into 4 sections.

Like I said I was well Impressed. Id Love to have a unite like that for my own and have it on FedEX.

I bet Id get more attention than the other Fleeters.

Dreaming Maybe but one day some day I will have a unite like that.

Its going to happen.

I was also Impressed with the Tractor as it was a cab over
He also told me it was very good on Ice and snow. I wonder any case.

The company he works for had 6 of these Unites This one was a 2007 with all the Bells and whistels.

One Unite was under the Reefers bellie and the other one was on the Front as they normaly are.

The Guy stated it was the next coldest thing next to Cryogenics.

I would love to have one of these trailers he said no matter what when it goes into defrost it dont loose no temp due to the duo thrmo unites running in conjunction with the other.

The Tractor was Gloss black and the trailer was white of course but the insulation even at 4" gave up 100 inch width inside and the Height was 109 Inch. Perty darn good ya ask me.

Inside she had 8 rows of E Tracks Horzontal and Tracks vertical as well. She also had 10 plugins for Electrical and recessed LED Lighting in the overhead. Not to mention a Killer camera system as well as the tie recessed deck tie downs. and A special coated planked floor.:)

Needless to say while Iam waiting patiently for a lucerative Load Opportunity I have been quite mesmerized so to speak.

I was Impressed very Impressed.

Now I wonder how FedEX would use a reefer like that.

I know it would become the Flagship of their Fleet.

I want it and want it now!!!!:)

They would issue you a cheap white dinner jacket and a clip-on bow tie and you would troll neighborhoods selling ice cream. There you go putting a dozen van drivers out of work.

You want to know somthing thats what FedEX ought to do to do these Old Couples that are on with them have them sellling Ice Cream outa the Old Roberts Express Trailers with the Ill fainted paint jobs covering up the The Old companies Name. I can see it now Ha ha ha. Grandma and Grandpa
celling Ice Cream outa 53 foot Trailers with Lift Gates. HA HA. YA thanks MOOT ya helped me with this one.

Not to mention the big Rooster Cursers as well. HA HA.

Ya Moot your right. The pertty boys are fare weather drivers and need to stay in the south for the winter just like they did last year in Baltamore 9 trucks turned down a load as they wouldnt go north in the snow ha ha. Man moot I sure am having fun with this. YA.

So lets see Ice Cream hats coats ya cool.

Now lets get down to business, I wonder what the Company going to do this year.
Last year I stayed in service for thanks giving only to get kicked in the teeth during xmas of which i was planning to stay in service over xmas while everyone else went home but some body took back a presant and gave me a lump of coal and a slap in the face. Well I will let bygones be bygones but its up to the company in they need a truck for the Holidays then they best bout being keeping me busy now as Im not going to be a patsey. In other words dont feed the roams and the ids and leave me out so they can go home. As if they do well to bad so sad I will do as i did last year say. NO DEAL !!!! CAN YA HERE ME NOW GOOD.

To all ya fare weather drivers GO HOME you dont belong out here. ya either can drive in it or ya cant.
If your trucks are that pertty then by golly they best be in a show room and not on the road. Trucks are made to do work, not look pertty.

IF I had that Rig I seen Yesterday, Id be working and Roams and IDs would be crying the blues as Id be the Big shot.
Or should I say the BIG SHOOOOW HA HA HA.

MOOT Thanks I need that your a PAL

ALF ha ha ha I kill me.

You do remeber ALF dont ya.

Marvin, think about this,100 inches inside width,4 inch insulation, that trailer would be 2 inches over width, you know max width is 102.By the way,my 1999 dorsey was 96 inside width, had 3 in. insulation in each wall, with only 1 unit, and would go 24 below zero at 100 degrees outside temp,of course it was an ice cream trailer that i had converted for fed ex,inside height was only 106 with 100 inch doors, and was one of the 1st trailers with a data logger.

Kevmar let's partner up in this ice cream business. You can work the main thoroughfares in the Mothership and I will split off in my van and cover the side streets and alleys.

We can call our enterprise Ice Road Ice Cream. Has a nice ring to it, don't you think. And to keep all of your friends back home in Iowa happy, we will sell only Blue Bunny ice cream. Dude, I'm on to something big here! This is better than chinchillas and Grit newspaper.
