Morning! We are finally on or was to vegas. The load was held up at the border for 12 hours. See y'all later!

If you have time visit the South Pointe Casino. They have an excellent buffet with all you can eat prime rib. Security will let you park there overnight. A really nice place.

We always liked the Rio, They have parking also and a great buffet called " A Taste Of the World ". Food from all over. The parking is to the rite of the main entrance, first lot on your right. They also have a free show Mardi Gras parade show in the slot machine room every hour. The parade is suspended from the ceiling. Pretty cool !!!!!!!!!

How is the recovery coming along now Turtle?
Imagine, if you will, a snail on a leash, being walked around the block, by a turtle.

Initially it was set for three sessions a week for three weeks. That would have put this past Friday at number nine, but the therapist was sick one day and two weeks ago the snow and the sub-zero temps shut everything down all week (including the university). In a couple of hours I'll be going in for session #6. We're gonna squeeze in #7 on Wednesday morning before the 9AM followup appointment with the ortho doctor (who will be expecting me to have 9 full sessions and a month under my belt).

Right now we're still working on range of movement. It's a lot better, but the range of movement is still severely limited, and there's no strength there whatsoever. The exact angles that I hold onto the steering wheel are the same angles my wrist won't go. And the other day a gallon jug of engine coolant whooped me good. Imagine reaching out at arm's length, palm up, and grabbing onto the handle of a gallon of coolant, and then raising it straight up. 9 pounds, and I couldn't even lift it an inch. Not at arm's length and palm up.

I can see improvement nearly every day. It's just in really small increments. But, I can twist a fork to feed myself like a civilized caveman now. That's a huge range of movement improvement.
