Just to let everyone aware, from the local weather report (s.e. missouri) there is a freezing rain, ice, sleet alert in place from now, 6:15 CST, 1/05/09 until tomorrow afternoon 1/06/09
Covers areas as far south as Dallas Tx. (they have ice already) up to S.E. Missouri
Will be ice from Texas to N.E Arkansas, NW Tenn., SW Kentucky, S.E. Missouri

Let's all start the new year out right! Be safe out there!!!

Yeah, I'm in western KY and it's a lot of fun. The driveway and walkway aren't iced over, but anything elevated is, like the trees, fences and the patio deck. And I'm sure the bridges. Stepped out the kitchen door onto the patio and did a Wayne Gretzky all the way across the patio. I was grace personified. Well, right up until I landed on my butt.

About an inch or so of little ice pellets covering eveything in western PA. (Johnstown) I'm in the city,can only imagine what the mountain tops are like.
