Be cautious if dealing with Big Cabin FL in OK. Among other service work they charged for a new air filter. At the next PM the air filter was pulled and had the Speedco label, date and mileage of the PM 2 times back on it so obviously Big Cabin just took the money without changing the filter. It's possible it was an honest mistake however combined with some other issues I doubt it and won't have them touch a truck again.

Leo, thanks for the heads up on this place. Doesn't it make you wonder how many other things they did or did not do when working on your truck! Scary!

Thanks for the info Leo. I nomally use either Speedo or a local shop near my house. Speedco has made two mistakes on my truck but took care of both problems without missing a beat. Layoutshooter

My brother in law's dad is a diesel mechanic. He made a good suggestion to me once. Mark you filters and various other parts (starter, altenator, whatever) with a little mark where you know the location but it can't be seen. That way if you put it in the shop and they claim to have swapped out a starter you can check for the mark before you pay. If it's there you know you have a problem with the shop. It will take some time, but it is one of those CYA things.
