Hello! My friend and I would like to get into expediting and we would like to know if we both would make a decent living driving a D-unit for FedExCC.Or would it be best to wait until these high fuel prices come down. we have a truck paid for,and we don't want to drive for any other o/o would appreciate any help. Thank You

Read as many posts as you can. You don't provide enough information for one to make a decision. What ones version of "enough" to one, may be completely different to another. Can the two of you work in confining places? How often are you trying to get home? Are you buying a truck or driving for someone. There are probably another 30 questions at least before you can close in on a suitable decision.

The words "my friend" are important. In this business, married couple teams are a lot more stable than teams of any other kind. You might want to visit some other trucking sites (non expediting) and do a searh on the word team. I've read some stories about team relationships there that have me in stitches laughing. But they are the kind of stories that would not be funny at all if it was happening to you.
