Looking for input on valve adjustments. Legit? An actual thing or a service writer’s way to generate fees? How would I know if I actually legitimately needed an adjustment?
The book says 50k. That being said, my shop basically never does a valve adjustment unless the overhead is noisy or if there's an aftertreatment complaint that can be traced back to engine performance.
