Boy that brings back some memories! When I was at Roberts in 93, we were just starting to see the trucks with sleepers! I still remember the first one I ever saw LOL.. looked a lot like that first pic! I was driving around in an 87 Cabover Mitsubishi with daybed... my van has a bigger bed now LOL.



D1115 after being retired. I thought I was a super trucker in that thing LOL.. 185 hp.. with a Jake brake! 11mpg, and great maneuverability.. couldn't beat those things for that.

I had the first "big" sleeper, Dreamer, with that Ford, and the first reefer with the Peterbilt .... and folks said I would never make money with them! What a hoot .. so much money my wife had a hard time spending it!

That Isuzu was one of the first "White Glove" trucks .... me and 9 others were singled out by Dave Hodge .....

Yep, we were getting $1 plus a mile, and fuel was under a buck. I started seeing a lot of those Ford F350-450 Pickup cab style trucks with crawl thru coffin sleepers.
