Before you go all getting your Old Navy panties in a wad, this story is two years old, the manager of the Old Navy store, Old Navy corporate, the manager of the mall, the head of mall security, and the sheriff all confirmed that no one was banned from the store or the mall over this incident. Those claims were fabricated by Aaron Bennett. Secondly, there is no way that anyone, being from a military family or not, would possibly think that a 16-year-old working at an Old Navy store could possibly, under any circumstances, be "falsely represent[ing] oneself as having received any U.S. military decoration or medal." Thirdly, the uniform in question was a 1930s French military uniform, not a Marine Corps uniform dress jacket complete with rank insignia, ribbons and a weapons badge.
