I agree about Trump. That man belongs in prison. His deeds are unforgivable. I'm not talking about forgiving or having compassion for Trump. I'm talking about empathy for his many supporters, the majority of whom I believe fell under Trump's spell and will come to understand that after the witch is dead.
Perhaps those that can show the error if their ways, I can have sympathy for.

Will Cuba Be Our 51st State?

During a White House news conference yesterday, Trump said, "I do believe I will be having the honor of taking Cuba. That's a big honor. Taking Cuba in some form." When questioned about this, he added, "Whether I free it, take it—I think I can do anything I want with it, you want to know the truth. They're a very weakened nation right now."

Taking Cuba, with all its problems does not sound very "America First" to me. People who monitor Trumps declining brain notice the disinhibiton Trump here demonstrates. Raw, self-centered imperialism. No concern whatsoever expressed for the good of America. Pure focus on his ability to exercise power because that is gratifying to him personally.
Although I really dont have a position on a 51st state, that really should be Puerto Rico if anybody.

Trump Has Lost the Initiative

I woke this morning to this headline:

"Iran targets UAE energy infrastructure as gas field set ablaze, tanker struck near Strait of Hormuz"

Trump can continue to bomb Iran all he wants. The Revolutionary Guard is firmly entrenched and will remain so. Regime change is not likely to happen in the foreseeable future, no matter how many leaders they kill. The US Navy will not send it's ships to certain death in the Straight of Hormuz an, despite Trump's pleas, no other nation will either.

Iran does not give a s**t about what Trump has to say about when the war will end. Trump has no good cards left to play and Iran knows it. Iran alone will decide when and how the war Trump illegally started ends.

I agree. Those who can't see and admit they were duped by Trump have a flawed grasp of reality. That will result in them going to prison, or retreating to their private fantasies where, with like-minded nut cases, they will play dress-up and have their sovereign militia club meetings in the woods, out of public view, mind, and influence.

I'm not going to put a lot of time to this, but I do wonder, what exactly does Trump have in mind to do with Cuba if he did somehow manage to take it?

Also going to prison are those who broke the law and trampled on the rights of others in Trump's name or under his influence. This includes certain ICE agents, but also hundreds of others who committed illegal acts while masquerading as public servants. The Democrats are already planning their commissions and investigations. Some have been keeping a careful inventory of the violations and violators.

This will not take long. Following Trump's firing her on March 5, top Democratic lawmakers formally referred Kristi Noem to the DOJ for a criminal investigation into potential perjury and making false statements under oath. Bondi will ignore the referral and Trump may pardon Noem.

But the point is Democrats are not going to wait around next time or drag things out. Trump will not be around to pardon people forever. Even if he blanket pardons everyone in his administration state-charges will be pressed. If the lawbreakers are in the Trump administration are not now afraid of prosecution, they will be as time and Trump passes.

Trump Speaks About Gas Prices

On Feb 24, in his State of the Union Address, Trump said, ""Gasoline, which reached a peak of over $6 a gallon in some states under my predecessor and was, quite honestly, a disaster, is now below $2.30 a gallon in most states, and in some places $1.99 a gallon. And when I visited the great state of Iowa just a few weeks ago, I even saw $1.85 a gallon for gasoline, the lowest in four years, and falling fast."

On March 8, on Truth Social, Trump said, "Short term oil prices, which will drop rapidly when the destruction of the Iran nuclear threat is over, is a very small price to pay for U.S.A., and World, Safety and Peace. ONLY FOOLS WOULD THINK DIFFERENTLY!"

On March 12, he posted on Truth Social, ""The United States is the largest Oil Producer in the World, by far, so when oil prices go up, we make a lot of money."

Observations and Questions:

1. Trump stood before the American people on Feb 24 and lied to our faces. On that date, the AAA national average gas price was $2.98, not the $2.30 he claimed.

2. Do you agree that your higher fuel price is "a very small price to pay" until the Iran nuclear threat is over? Also, how will you know it is over? How long must we keep paying this "very small price?"

3. Trump's billionaire oil industry buddies do indeed make a lot of money when fuel prices rise. How much money do you and I make, when we are standing at the pump filling our car or truck?

Related:

Today, diesel prices reached $5.04 a gallon, up from $4.78 a week ago and from $3.65 over a month ago, according to data from AAA.

Epstein Files Update

Today, articles of impeachment were filed against Attorney General Pam Bondi. The articles allege that Bondi has willfully defied the Epstein Files Transparency Act by "slow-walking" the release of documents and using "improper redactions" to protect political allies.

On March 16, Bank of America reached a tentative settlement with a group of Epstein survivors. The bank was accused of "willfully looking the other way" while billionaire Leon Black moved over $170 million to Epstein through their accounts.

The search of Epstein's New Mexico ranch and adjacent public lands continues. Among other things, officials are looking for the bodies of two foreign girls allegedly buried there. They are also inspecting structures to see if their floor plans match the victims' descriptions of the buildings. Their purpose is to factually document the layout. The established layout facts can then be used to bolster or undermine the descriptoons' credibility, depending on what the facts turn out to be.

Hegseth's "no quarter" Iran talk alarms legal experts

Looks like he is campaigning for the War Criminal of the Year trophy.

Hegseth will sing a different tune when he is charged in the World Court for war crimes. He is already complicit in the murders of Venezuelan boat operators. His lack of concern for international law will come back to bite him, I believe, and hope.

Trump and NATO

Donald Trump is once again pretending the law doesn’t apply to him. Now he’s claiming he can pull the United States out of NATO without Congress. That’s not leadership, that’s delusion mixed with authoritarian instinct.

The Constitution is crystal clear. A president cannot unilaterally withdraw from NATO. It requires either a two-thirds vote in the Senate or an act of Congress. Full stop.

Why does this matter? Because NATO isn’t just some optional club. It’s the backbone of global security and one of the main reasons large-scale war in Europe has been avoided for decades.

Trump isn’t just talking tough. He’s signaling to allies and enemies alike that America can’t be trusted to honor its commitments.

This is exactly how chaos starts. Undermine alliances. Ignore the law. Centralize power in one person.

We’ve seen this playbook before. It never ends well.

The Epstein files will be another Al Capone's vault. Anything damaging to either party would have been leaked during the 24 campaign. Regardless, There will be true believers that continue to cling to their faint hopes and wishes.
Yet another group of "true believers" has surfaced. That is the bipartisan group of Democrats and Republicans on the House Oversight Committee who voted to subpoena US Attorney General Bondi to testify before the Committee in a closed-door session.

Notably, Committee Chair Comer, who initially resisted this subpoena, is now publicly criticizing the DOJ for "slow-walking" the release of the Epstein files and for missing the December 2025 deadline set by the Epstein Files Transparency Act. He is specifically demanding to know why nearly 3 million pages of documents remain unreleased or heavily redacted.

Yep!
Trump isn’t just talking tough. He’s signaling to allies and enemies alike that America can’t be trusted to honor its commitments.
He is also signalling that he has no honor and his grasp of reality is increasingly inaccurate.

Every Reciprocal Tariff Deal Trump Has Made Will Likely Unravel, Like This One Did

On March 15, 2026, Malaysia officially walked away from its trade deal with the United States, declaring the agreement "null and void." This makes Malaysia the first country to abandon a pact negotiated under the administration's Reciprocal Tariff strategy.

The original deal—signed in October 2025—was essentially an "avoidance" agreement. Malaysia agreed to policy concessions and market access in exchange for the U.S. lowering its threatened 47% tariff down to 19%. The 10% Shift: After the Supreme Court struck down those high reciprocal tariffs, the White House pivoted to a uniform 10% global tariff under a different law (Section 122).

Malaysia realized it was now paying a 19% "deal" price while countries without a deal were only paying the new 10% global rate. Thus the "null and void" declaration.

I expect to see many if not all countries that entered such deals to follow suit.

People Are Losing Their Fear of Donald Trump

In the last few days, we saw:

  • The tiny country of Malaysia slap Trump's face by declaring their trade deal null and void.
  • Several nations openly reject Trump's plea for naval support, where in some cases he said it would be bad for them if they declined.
  • US House Oversight Committee Republican Chairman Comer move against Trump regarding the Epstein files.
  • A number of Republican-appointed SCOTUS justices ruling to strip Trump of his signature trade tool (tariffs).
  • Iran continuing its war against the US and Israel even after suffering catastrophic battle damage.

Why is all this happening now? I think it's because people are losing their fear of Trump. His threats don't frighten people like they did before. They see Trump as a fading force.

It's not our war---- (Europe)

Trump: America first! We don’t need Europe or NATO — they’ve been very unfair to us! I’m slapping increased tariffs on every single one of the United States’ allies!

Then Trump starts a war with Iran without caring what any European nation thinks or consulting them at all.

Iran, predictably (well, predictably to everyone except anyone working in the Trump administration), mines and blockades the Strait of Hormuz — one of the world’s most important shipping channels — triggering a global crisis.

Trump: We need all European nations and NATO to come help deal with this crisis I started and clearly didn’t plan for — and if they don’t, they’ll pay!

If that all sounds incredibly stupid, it should, because it is.

Yet, sadly, that’s literally what’s playing out on the world stage right now.

The same president who has spent years attacking, provoking, and criticizing our allies is now begging — and by begging I mean demanding, with open threats if they don’t comply — for them to come bail him out of the giant mess he created.

And we all know exactly what will happen if they do: he’ll go right back to attacking, provoking, and criticizing them while taking all the credit once the Strait of Hormuz is reopened.

Donald Trump is one of the dumbest, most pathetic, and worst human beings on the planet.

In a March 15 interview with the Financial Times, Trump said, "It’s only appropriate that people who are the beneficiaries of the Strait will help to make sure that nothing bad happens there. If there’s no response or if it’s a negative response, I think it will be very bad for the future of NATO."

On March 17, on Truth Social, he said, "Because of the fact that we have had such Military Success, we no longer 'need,' or desire, the NATO Countries' assistance—WE NEVER DID! Likewise, Japan, Australia, or South Korea WE DO NOT NEED THE HELP OF ANYONE!"

With his actions and statements, Trump increasingly provides evidence he is not in his right mind.

Just a few dollars more each fill up. Maybe 2 fill ups a month. Not a big deal. It’s a temporary situation. Not like the previous 4 years before Trump where there was a systematic problem exacerbated by the Biden regime’s policies. Month after month. Year after year of high gas prices. And all we got from the Left about it was it’s good for global warming not to drive so much and it was for the common good. Also got feel good posts from them about higher fuel surcharges being a bonus for business so it wasn’t a big deal. We know the Left doesn’t GAF about high gas prices. They’ve demonstrated this many times when someone would bring it up. We know they’re full of b.s. about it.

Ukraine isn’t our war. Yet we bail out NATO countries with billions of dollars there. NATO countries failed the test about the Strait Of Hormuz. They benefit the upside of the Strait being open but are useless and unwilling to help the U.S if needed. Trump will duly note that next time they want more money to cover their AZZ in Europe. Reap what you sow.
