No. These citizen heroes are defending the Constitution of the Unites States from Trump-sanctioned thugs who are among the "all enemies foreign and domestic" the Constitution itself anticipates, which is why that language is included. They’re defending the constitution from a constitutionally sanctioned ICE? Oh, ok.
Now they are protesting at Walz’s residence.
ICE is an enemy of the US Constitution. ICE has been corrupted by Trump and is past the point of being reformed. ICE must be abolished, and those who committed illegal acts while hiding behind their ICE masks must be brought to justice under the very Constitution they undermine.
I'm not alone in this anti-ICE sentiment. Even if you ignore the 4-6 million who turned out in the June No Kings protest, and the 5-7 million who turned out in October, when you see fans at a wrestling match unify in an Anti ICE chant (see this), you know the anti-ICE sentiment runs deep and wide.
You read above about the 30,000 trained constitutional observers in Minnesota. This is part of a nationwide movement. On Jan 28, 200,000 people had registered for "Eyes on ICE" online training. Similar training happened on Feb 5 but I do not yet know the number of participants. This is very encouraging. The people are rising to defend the Constitution against those who are undermining it.
This is bad for Trump. Maybe he should host a big stadium rally in a red state to show how much public support he still enjoys.
