There is no "right company", rather the "right company for YOU".
Lots of questions to be answered before a carrier name pops up.

The advice is to look at this as a career, no different than HVAC, dental technician, paralegal or many many others. Those take hundreds of hours of education, training and learning. This should as well. Read back a few years each in the General, Newbie and Recruiter forums.

You don't have to read every word but you should read every thread title for the last few years and every thread that the title sounds remotely educational and informative you should read every word. That should keep you busy for a hundred hours or more, at least.

If it doesn't go back another year and another. Once you've read that much and learned that much you'll be ready to ask any number of questions that will help further your preparation. It won't guarantee success but it will make it a lot more likely than those folks who read a few hours worth and ask a few questions and think they're ready to dive right in.

Good luck. You'll need that too.
