So, we were told (by more then a few people here on EO as well as by the msm) that barry was the world savior that he was going to "repair" all the damage that the "Cowboy" Bush had done while he was in office all over the world and especially in the Mid-East...barry with his silver tongue and his "oratory skills" and the fact that he had the muslum upbring that he could simply talk his way to repairing the way those Mid-Eastern foreign nations viewed America..well that and his "submissive apology tour"...

We were lead to believe he was the one that was going to fix every negative that was contributed to "America" and all the wrong America had done because in his words he declared that "America has "failed to appreciate Europe's leading role in the world" and has "shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive" towards its allies." and that he would be the one that would never be like Bush and all would be good because he was sooo well liked and the other leaders of the world would see that he was not out to keep the American status but to lower its position in the world to that on just another 3rd world power (but he was personally the savior of those that would follow him...) yeap he wanted the world to know that America was no longer exceptional...

Well it seems that things just aren't working out as barry and his minions and followers figured...seems his foreign policy skills just are up to this silver tongue...seems he is driving the world leaders to not only laugh at him, but also to make efforts to establish better relationships with countries that could be viewed as our enemies....

So along with all of the rest of barrys screwups, lies and bs, just how it that "hope and change" workin for all those of you that said we needed to "give him a chance"!?!?

Seems it ain't workin for the Saudis....

NBC’s Brokaw: Saudis ‘So Unhappy' With Obama They Sent Emissaries to China, Russia Seeking Enhanced Ties

(CNSNews.com)– Reporting from Baghdad, Iraq yesterday, NBC’s Tom Brokaw said the Saudi Arabian monarchy is “so unhappy with the Obama administration for the way it pushed out President Mubarak of Egypt” that it has sent senior officials to the Peoples' Republic of China and Russia to seek expanded business opportunities with those countries.

After remarking on the difficulty of establishing democracy in the Middle East, Brokaw said that Defense Secretary Robert Gates “will face some tough questions in this region about the American intentions going on now with all this new turmoil, especially in an area where the United States has such big stakes politically and economically.”

“And a lot of those questions presumably will come from King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia,” reported Brokaw on the Nightly News. “I was told on the way in here that the Saudis are so unhappy with the Obama administration for the way it pushed out President Mubarak of Egypt that it sent high level emissaries to China and Russia to tell those two countries that Saudi Arabia now is prepared to do more business with them.”

Brokaw continued, “Back here in Iraq, the political and the economic situation remains fragile. So fragile that the U.N. secretary general is worried that this country could now see massive protests in the streets once again.”

Earlier in his report, Brokaw noted that while U.S. military forces are supposed to leave Iraq at year’s end, the U.S. Embassy staff was being beefed-up from 8,000 to nearly 20,000 personnel.

“So Iraq is a reminder of just how difficult it is to establish a democracy in this part of the world,” said Brokaw. “After all, we've been at war here for eight years now, hundreds of billions of dollars have been spent, and thousands and thousands of lives have been lost on both sides.”

Chef,
I was told something rather interesting today by a Muslim;

People seem to think that just because Obama (he called him some really nasty Arabic name) that he has ties to Indonesia and the Muslims there does not mean that he is actually taken seriously by Muslims in the Middle East.

He said that speeches are a great thing but unless you back that up with action and a show of strength, it is meaningless. Once he actually made an effort to reach out to the people of the middle east, he lost all respect from them once they saw him compromise on key issues and disrespect his own country.

I guess from what I was told, a lot of people in the middle east are watching Obama and see how he is handling the simplest things like the budget causing them all to lose all respect for him.

I find it funny that a bunch of people I talk to wish that Bush would have run again.
