can any of you seasoned teams driving a d truck with fedexcc tell me what to expect if i hire a co-driver and run teams next year. about what kind of miles/income can i expect, so i can give him some kind of realistic ballpark exstimate on potential income. are most of you running pretty good..?? i realize everyone is slow right now, but i think things should pick up soon dont you?? thanks ...frank

From Jan. through March don't expect a lot. Its very rare to make a killing during this period.

This year we have been averaging $1500.-2500.00 in 2001. Majority of the runs we have done could have been done by a single driver.

i had a co driver for a while made petty money, and miles
but what hurt the most was paying for workmen's comp and unemployment
ins, end up making the same amount of money as running single so
went back to being single, if you can get around that some how of not
paying workmen's comp and unemployment ins let me know
that's what is biggest kill of not being a husband and wife team
