From the article:
So we have to wonder, if all this violence happens in Obama’s beloved Chi-town where no guns are allowed, how much more lethal would the hoods be if folks were armed
?

Question: Do you ever read any "real" news articles or only commentaries that fit your opinion and/or agenda?

I am not defending Obama because what has been happening in Chicago since the 1920s has little to nothing to do with Obama. Further, I somehow doubt that Chicago is "beloved" by him.

It is a GOOD thing that the Downriver communities, south of Detroit, were not "gun free zones" in 1967. During the riots there was some aborted attempts to move the violence out of Detroit into the southern suburbs. The "rioters" knew that the army had machine gun nests and tanks on the major roads that lead out of the city so they TRIED to move in on side streets in residential neighborhoods. What they found was MOST houses had ARMED homeowners sitting on their porches. Those ARMED homeowners were NOT going to allow THEIR homes to be destroyed. The rioters moved back into the hole that they came out of.

IF Obama gets HIS way the rioters will win next time.
