Greg you asked for a price on tanks. I called Frontier and they have a used 50gal. for a 2005 M2 at 400.00 and they have 80gal new for FL70 at 450.00 for Alum. +shipping (to Charlotte NC about 150). These are 18x18x61.5, this would fit but the filler is in the wrong place these look like they would be under the door.

Thanks.

Yep they will work for an FL70, the price seems to be right. I would think that if there is an expediter headed down that way, maybe they can throw them on the truck for you seeing they are new.

As for the filler, I am told that the running board on the M2 is near the same length, opening under the door is not an issue, look at an M2 closely.

That's were a 50 gallon tanks ends on an M2, centre of the filler is about 3" behind the rear edge of the door - they lower edge of the cab is cut away right above the filler. The top step stops a few inches before it gets to the filler.

I think it will still work for the FL70, the cab has a space under the seats and has a lot of room there if needed (they put batteries tin that space on some models). I have seen a couple of them on fl70s so I know that they will work. My right tank is hard to fill, the sleeper is in the way.

yup if it is in the right, place then you would not need locking caps. My tanks should be back today. They fixed the rust and put a lining on the inside like you would do a tank on a bike. I hope it cost less than a new one.
