I truely hope that nobody uses the numbers in my example to determine the CPM for their van or any other size truck. Those numbers are not my exact expenses, they are approximations of values on each line item. I posted the CPM discussion to show a simple way of forecasting CPM for use in determining profit or loss in operations. There are many more factors for P & L than CPM.
The only person that can help you is you. What will you pay for a truck? what will be your total finance charges? What carrier will you lease with and what are their start-up costs?
You need to do some research yourself because no driver on the road knows the answers to your questions; only you know that. My post was meant to be a guideline not the definative answer to cargo van costs.
