He's very good, and funny, but he tends to be, especially with the Madden impression, a little too much on the mean-spirited side for my tastes.

Agreed Turtle.

He does take it to the limit, and I liked Madden for many reasons, but he does tend to capture a few negative things in great form. I hear he does other impressions, but don't know of the guy, personally....or his act.

Making fun of people is a fine line and it must be done in decent taste (if that's not a complete contradiction in terms).

John Madden gave a lot to the game.....and in the booth. Only my personal acknowledgement of that, allows me to laugh at this. I think it's a must in any given situation, where impersonation is presented.

Just watched his George Bush. Ted Knight is from MTM?

Don't watch TV, but do run clips off utube (obviously) Most humor nowadays is pretty pathetic....but do run into the occasional good one. IMV, of course. :)
