slow freight?

Does anyone know why the freight is so slow this week? Doesn't seem to be much in the central east area. Thought I would ask and see if anyone knew. Haven't had much for load opps this entire week and thought maybe there was a holiday I didn't know about, LOL

This week has been busy for us. The entire month has this is already our second be month this year for gross income. It will not beat the best, which was August. Sept was good too.

Maybe its just the service centers we were in, Nashville, Tn-Birmingham, AL and Evansville, In. Nashville (43 miles from home) Tn we spent 3 days there at the T/A before we even got a load opp, Evansville we got 2 offers in 2 days and Birmingham we spent 1 day, accepted a load, dead-headed to pick it up, but unfortunately it cacelled. Just thought I would see if anyone else was experiencing the same. Thanx for your response. Skip
