Sleep Issues

Last night I drove from Fort Wayne Indiana to Elizabeth New Jersey....nice run with some darn good pay behind it.

Now, if you ain't ever been been to Elizabeth New Jersey its a little bit of a pain. It seems that they believed at one time to build a building and then place three railroad overpasses around it with a tiny 11-foot clearance.

This then forces you to circle a good portion of the city to get to the only 'good' side of the building to make your delivery. Thank goodness they have some pretty nice police officers there that will instruct you how to get around the nightmare.

Anyways, was up all night driving to get the load here, took a short coffee break to rest a tad and dropped this morning. Guess what?

Tired as a frog on a small lilly pad but I drunk so much coffee I can't sleep. Out of hours so I need to shut down anyways..........so how do you properly manage getting your sleep when you have drove one of these 'longer' runs?

Just wondering cause I would like to go to sleep NOW!

also........why is it on the East Coast the Wal Marts really don't allow you to park AT ALL on their property so we have to drive
60-miles just to find a place to hopefully GO TO SLEEP.......the east coast Wal Marts have no manners........

Wal-Mart doesn't have the policies that stop people from parking most of the time, it is a city issue.

There has been an on-going case with parking trucks and having them towed quickly. Some city in SC contracted with a towing company and it went to court and the towing company eat a lot of money over it.
