Shiloh Automotive...Laredo TX. = RIPOFF

Just wanted to pass along my experince with Shiloh Automotive in Laredo Tx...water pump pulley broke about(wich only had 5,000 miles on it)... 45 miles north of Laredo...was towed to this shop...the replaced the water pump..then charged me $50.00 to diagnois it.( I knew exactly what the problem was.....then charged me 13.64 to use my credit card.$464.00 repair.. Well the pulley broke again!!! This time north of New Orleans..got towed again to a mom and pop shop they installed a rebuilt OEM..2ND water pump I got 17,000 out of it..well Shiloh auto. Won't refund my $$ on the part..after a week of I will call you back...he just told me " f off I'm not going to help you)...The shop in MS. Charged me 330.00 for the repair...problems seems to be the after market pumps pulley is cheap pressed metal....while the OEM rebuilt pulley is.cast...just wanted to warn you about Shiloh Auto. There @ exit 7 next door to the border patrol motor pool...my shop where the 1st pump was installed refunded me 100% of the bill...parts and labor....

I would probably throw French-Ellison on that list as well for big trucks. Pretty worthless even for simple repairs.
But I will say, we have had good luck at the French-Ellison is San Antonio. Hard to believe they are the same people but operated totally different from each other.
