Rimfire

I'm thinking about getting a rimfire just for fun. I'm debating a Ruger 10/22, Henry AR7 and Marlin 60 primarily but may consider a few others as well. I think it would be a fun and fairly inexpensive way to pass some time.

Lol..my kind of subject ...i own a ruger 10/22 and 3 marlin 60 and a marlin 22 mag. Love them all. Ruger has more accessories. So that maybe something you may like more. To me they are just as good as one another.

I have a Ruger 10/22, shoots pretty good but the stock is too small. I am going to customize it over the next year and a make a tack driver out of it. New trigger, barrel, receiver and stock. I also have a Remington 522 pump .22. Mrs. Layoutshooter has a Ruger MKII with a 6.5" bull barrel. VERY accurate pistol. LOADS of fun to shoot.

Some of the higher end bolt actions are nice too.

Couple of links:

IF you buy a 10/22 here is a place with LOTS of custom parts so you can 'trick out' your new toy.

OR

You can buy a 10/22 already tricked out here

Suggest the Hogue 'overmolded' stock for the 10/22 when customizing

Ruger makes some nice bolt action rimfires too.

Hope this helps you along the way there Leo!
