Resurecting a AA Sleeper bench

Has anyone ever tried to reupholester the reclining bench seat in the AA Sleeper 96" incher? Can the seat be replaced with something from an RV application? And can you even get the whole thing out of the doors without taking the sleeper off the frame?

All thoughts/info welcome!

Good news...you have alot of options.
The first is having it recovered. The cushions also can be replaced by going back to AA. Not sure on the cost?
The other option is to buy a two piece system from camper world and let them install it. The two pieces is an advantage so they can get it in through the front or side.
Your existing unit may be unbolted or in a worse case scenerio, take a torch and cut the frame.
You would have it out in no time.
