Rates are the same as how you price a widget, if you are manufacturing one. Cost, plus whatever you want to make. If'n you is too cheap, you'll be real busy. If'n you is to expensive, they'll let you know.

FIRST THING YOU NEED TO DO IS TO GO TO A BUSINESS SCHOOL OF LEARNING. IF YOU THINK IT'S THAT EASY TO START A BUSINESS, THEN EVERYONE WOULD BE OUT THERE DOING IT. SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE A CLUE,OF WWHAT BUSINESS IS ALL ABOUT, LET ALONE THE SCHOOLING TO RUN ONE. THE POST JUST ABOVE MINE SAID IT ALL. DA!!!!!!}>

In response to the posting referencing rates - rate setting is
trial an error. The uncontrolled factors has effects on
whether under/over priced on a given job. Anyone in business
for themselves knows that once in awhile for cash flow purposes
underbidding is intentional.

In expediting (in a courier mode), there will be many times the
owner will lose customers due to: arriving late, too busy to
handle all customers, etc. ((In summary - the point I am trying
to make is not to concentrate soley on rates))
