Seasoned Expediter
wow, I have talked to drivers from several different companies today and cannot believe the rates they said [and a few even showed me] that they were being offered,
one load offer at .85 cents a mile, another at .95 and a liftgate load at $1.05. others talking about loads at .75 to 1.25.
these are all "D" unit loads
about all of them say they cannot last much longer, and with these rates I can see why.
Are all these expediting companies going to continue a race to the bottom or is someone going to figure out that they cannot haul their customers freight if they lose all their trucks??
