Why replace one piece of junk with another? I would imagine the "deal" is to move inventory they are stuck with!

However, if you have one, (like I do), the $69.00 lifetime map update is a deal.

I think it's the 500 I have. Excellent! Other than a few quirks, it's top notch. I'd buy another if mine went down.

Without the trade in the price is $399 so the trade in seems pretty good $150 savings

Im still using Google maps/navigation in my phone and some common sense.....Whose GPS is perfect anyway....Ive got a Garmin that I bought reconditioned and it works fine....Ive run both units and gotten the same routes, but without the common sense part they arent perfect.
