ALL EUROPEAN LIFE DIED IN AUSCHWITZ

The following is a copy of an article written by Spanish writer Sebastian Vilar Rodrigez and published in a Spanish newspaper on 5-22-07. It doesn't take much imagination to extrapolate the message to the rest of Europe - and possibly to the rest of the world.

ALL EUROPEAN LIFE DIED IN AUSCHWITZ By Sebastian Vilar Rodrigez(*)

I walked down the street in Barcelona, and suddenly discovered a terrible truth - Europe died inAuschwitz . We killed six million Jews and replaced them with 20 million Muslims. In Auschwitz we burned a culture, thought, creativity, talent. We destroyed the chosen people, truly chosen, because they produced great and wonderful people who changed the world.

The contribution of this people is felt in all areas of life: science, art, international trade, and above all, as the conscience of the world. These are the people we burned.

And under the pretense of tolerance, and because we wanted to prove to ourselves that we were cured of the disease of racism, we opened our gates to 20 million Muslims, who brought us stupidity and ignorance, religious extremism and lack of tolerance, crime and poverty, due to an unwillingness to work and support their families with pride.

They have blown up our trains and turned our beautiful Spanish cities into the third world, drowning in filth and crime. Shut up in the apartments they receive free from the government, they plan the murder and destruction of their naive hosts.

And thus, in our misery, we have exchanged culture for fanatical hatred, creative skill for destructive skill, intelligence for backwardness and superstition.

We have exchanged the pursuit of peace of the Jews of Europe and their talent for hoping for a better future for their children, their determined clinging to life because life is holy, for those who pursue death, for people consumed by the desire for death for themselves and others, for our children and theirs.

What a terrible mistake was made by miserable Europe.

A lot of Americans have become so insulated from reality that they imagine America can suffer defeat without any inconvenience to themselves.

No, I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people.

They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone lest they be guilty of profiling.

Let's send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Aldreds and other dunder-headed attorneys along with Federal Justices that want to thwart common sense, feel ashamed of themselves -- if they have any such sense.

Leo,
It all looks good but for some reason there are a couple things that don’t seem right.

Sirhan Sirhan is Christian, not Muslim. What I was told he was Baptist at one time and now I heard he is Lutheran again. There is another Sirhan Sirhan who is Muslim and he was a terrorist in Palestine and a member of al-Fatah.

The other thing is what is Daniel Pearl’s name doing on the list?

He was a reporter trying to track down information on a subject no one really cared about and like Nick Berg, should not have been where he was because they were both warned that there was a danger of getting killed. He, like a few other reporters are part of this elitist crowd (Anderson Cooper is another and has a habit of telling us what we need to think and feel) and that is the only reason I can see why he is even mentioned.

We should not make heroes out of the media, they are part of the problem not the solution.

Regardless whether he was liked or not, reporter Daniel Pearl was still an American just doing his job. It wasn't a popular job to some people. I don't think we should discard the fact he was a human being and didn't deserve to die for doing what he thought what was right, a priviledge we are all guaranteed. He took the risk and died for it.

OVM,
outside of the human life issue, he knew the risk, he knew what he was getting into and to make it out like he was a victim is not right in comparing it to others who were victims. The entire glorifying a reporter who has to report the 'news' and gets killed doing so cheapens true tragic things that have happened. I point to last year when they made a big deal about the 30 or so reporters who were killed in Iraq. We were told this was really a bad thing because we are the ones suffering by a lack of true reporting but no one reported some of the things that the people were going through in Iraq, the reporters ignore a lot to report what their agenda and editors tell them to report.

I have this issue with journalist in general, they think they they are above the citizens and the law. Many take an oath not to the country that defends their right to freedoms but to the world - which is wrong; journalist and world citizen first, Americans a far distant second.

I am bothered by the elitist club that has been created called professional journalism. They all fall behind the constitution, citing that they have a right to operate unencumbered by the protection of freedom of the press and freedom of speech, which they really don't. When the constitution was written, the term freedom of the press didn't mean an organized and closed press but a citizen with any means of communicating to others. It was clear that the press was anyone, the lawyer, baker, or the weird guy that lived at the end of the street and flew kites in storms.

With the NY Times releasing classified documents that were taken illegally, they should have been shut down but the government seems to be afraid of the press and will risk lives of American citizens on our own soil before they close off access to secrets that our enemies can use to get around security to kill us.

In recent months, I have been reading more and more criticism of real press, the citizen press in this country and more and more calling for regulations on how we, the real press should operate because we are not stepping on the toes of the 'professionals'. Brain Williams, that great idiot newscaster said that we "must examine the blogs, the citizen journalist and we must find ways to regulate them". He echoes others who don't want to see the proper flow of the news.

As for the list, I still content that his name should not be there unless you add all the soldiers and contractors names too.

I just posted it as written, or at least as found. Editing is via the original source, as far as I know.

As a sub note:

IMHO The press should have never been allowed to the front lines in the first place. The Pentagon at the time must of had some agenda to let this happen. If I am right the military has it's own media relations Dept. to keep the public informed. Our good soldiers have better things to do. It must be humiliating to protect someone who's going to cut your literal throat with words
