Pretty decent fuel savings

Some of ya's already do this. Rest easy, it's not multi level or any of that crap. It's limited to Speedway gas stations. However, I did this to save 7 cents/gallon last fill up. I'm not sure how it works for the big trucks, but for us gassers it can be pretty handy.

For starters I got a Speedway Rewards Card. That right there saves ya 2 cents/gallon. Then I buy the gift cards. What that saves ya depends on what kind of fuel you buy. The gift card can be a little inconvenient in that if ya bought a $100 card, & ya've used 60, & need to fill up, after $40 the pump shuts off & ya have to buy another one. What I'm going to do is if I know I don't have enough money to fill my tank, I'll put another $100 on it before I pump.

Anyways, the last time I filled up gas that was 2.23/gallon ended up costing me 2.16. I'm also going to apply for a Speedway credit card that will save me 8% for the first two months & then 4% thereafter. This is only good on Speedway gas though. If I'd had the credit card to buy the gift card, I would have saved another 17 cents or so per gallon. (or about 8.5 cents/gallon after the first 2 months) That would have made the $2.23 gas cost about 1.99 or so. (or 2.08 after the first 2 months)

Finally, on this credit card, you save 1% everywhere else ya shop. So all in all, not a bad deal.

Drive safe,
Danny

Speedway has a ok program. They aren't asking for monies up front ect. I have drivers that use that program and have had no complaints.
They also don't have plans to sign you up as a distributor.

Also on the Speedway Rewards Card after you get 25,000.points (10 points per dollar i think) you can get 25 gal free fill up. From what the clerk told me you also earn points on the 25 gals because the rewards is a coupon. So if you turn the points in for the fill up make sure you get your card scaned for that.
