posting in daytripper guide section

Tried to post info regarding an event in the Daytripper Guide section, that I thought might be of interest to EO members, about an event held on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Tried to post this yesterday Oct. 7, message appeared saying thread would need to be approved by a moderator? Standard procedure or not ? Needless to say, no thread yet .

Yeah, same thing happened to me, I guess it's to keep people from commenting on their trips to the Mustang ranch and such.

The Daytrippers Guide is a Moderated Forum, which means posts there are invisible to others and must first be "approved" by a Moderator before it goes "live" and can be seen and replied to. Why? I have no idea. Seems that a few other forums would be better suited for that sort of thing.

There are a couple of posts in there about drivers looking for fleet owners and other clearly off-topic topics that have not been approved, so it does eliminate that sort of thing.

Those posts are now approved and should be visible.
