Petraeus says: Times Square bomber likely acted alone

WASHINGTON (AP) - Gen. David Petraeus says the Times Square bombing suspect apparently operated as a "lone wolf" who did not work with other terrorists.

The general who oversees the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan tells The Associated Press that alleged bomber Faisal Shahzad was inspired by militants in Pakistan, but didn't necessarily have direct contact with them.

Authorities say Shahzad told investigators he went to a terror training camp in Pakistan, but they have yet to confirm that.

And? As long as Osama Obama continues to do NOTHING, to NO make things for real and run around blaming US for THEIR problems these attacks will not only continue but will increase in both numbers and severity.

Why is he commenting on a domestic issue? I didn't know he worked for the FBI.

I just finished watching the ABC evening news and they had the BP officers on who "stop" this guy form flying away. They made the guy who "discovered" him on the flight out as a hero but forgot to mention the security steps that are in place in the first place to stop anyone from boarding the plane that DIDN'T WORK.

Not to take away "a job well done" on the officers part but I think there should be an outrage by everyone that we go through all this crap just to fly with no fly lists, checks/double checks, having to take our shoes off, old people being harrassed because they set off metal detectors with their titanum knees, no containers over microsocpic size for the carry on luggage but here is a wanted man with his picture handed to every LEO in the country who not just made it passed the check points but made it to the plane, boarded and was seated for 20 minutes before someone discovered him.

The head of DHS should resign for that crap and others should be lose their jobs.
