I posted this in the recruiter forum but it never showed up.

Panther has a banner ad on this site that says $1.52 for straight trucks and $1.89 for T/T. Are these figures still accurate?
If not, what are the actual figures or am I allowed to ask?

It takes a little while for things to show up on the recruiter forum. It isn't instantaneous like these are.

Those numbers are Panther averages of total compensation including loaded mile pay, fuel surcharge, freight touching, detention, etc. etc. unless I'm incorrectly informed. I'm sure they are pretty accurate if not exact. Since fuel pricing is volatile and rapidly changing and fsc somewhat follows along with it they could be off a few pennies but I doubt any more than that. I'm sure someone will correct this if I'm misinformed.

Thanks LDB.
I have another thread in this forum titled "another wannabe" which will give a little background on my situation.
Can a Solo from Ohio succeed with Panther in a C class truck or would the D class have that much of an advantage?
I was thinking 75%availability.

In another forum I read where anything over 26000# is a class D. It didnt say anything about the size of the box. FECC website says a 22' box is a class D.
What are the major companies definitions of a C class and D class?

EDIT: Please give weight and box size.

When leasing a truck to Panther, or any of them for that matter, who pays the Primary liability? Cargo? Can a contractor get away with just Unladen liability?
