I don’t think I said you drove for LEA?
Listen all I know is that I have a reputation and many years to protect, I have never heard of any Agent at any time holding fuel for self benefit, it just doesn’t make any good cense.
It seems that you have an axe to grind and I’m sorry for that.
Best of luck to you
God Bless and be safe!

I am sorry that someone thinks I have an axe to grind against them. I have never driven nor do I care to, drive for landstar. Providing factual information does not constitute an axe to grind. Read my earlier post as it indicates that one investigated doesn't mean they are guilty. However, the fact is that you still have a lawsuit pending from ooida that one can research themself. The only interest I have is providing some basic information for a new operator before he spends alot of his/her finances. At that point they can make an informed decision. I have been in expediting a long time and do take note of carriers that abuse their drivers. As one well knows, alot of folks put their life savings on the line to enter expediting. I personally think it is a sin to have them taken advantage of by a unscrupulous carrier.

This has always been a pet peeve of mine - seeing companies add on accessorial charges based on the extra effort, investment and/or expenses required of drivers, and then passing on only a percentage to the drivers. There are not only fuel surcharges involved - there are extra charges from some companies for teams, weekend shipments, holidays, hazmat, border crossings, detention time, and air-ride suspension just to name a few. Granted, there are some instances where the carriers should be entitled to a percentage such as extra insurance involved with hazmat. But it all comes down to the carriers being honest with the details of the invoice - they should be forthcoming with what charges are involved and how much they are.
